I had the pleasure of working with Ebdaah's professional and passionate trainer.
The session was an eye opener for many colleagues who gained a better understanding of our guests’ special needs.
As a result of this training session we are now working on Standard Operating Procedures on proper way of handling Guests’ Special Needs, we are planning to forge alliances with organizations focusing on people with disabilities (CSR campaigns) and we are looking at providing more services and facilities to improve the quality of our Guest Experience such as disabled-friendly transfers!

“Many thanks for a splendid talk. Your commitment and support gave delegates a rare opportunity to find out more about early years nutrition from a specialist with considerable practical and academic knowledge of the area. We received excellent feedback from those attending.”

Having an objective fresh approach to listening to our needs has enabled us to plan ahead and identify any potential problems for the future and highlight any issues that currently exist that might be an obstacle to change. I found the approach warm and sensitive whilst being direct and perceptive and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I invited Andrew to spend the morning with me to talk through some quite difficult and personal issues that I was having to grapple with as the leader of the team. I have to say the time we had together totally exceeded my expectations. Andrew was an extremely good listener and asked many insightful questions which greatly helped to crystallise my thinking. Although the issues we were talking about were quite painful, he handled that aspect with real skill and helped me grapple with the issues in an holistic way not just at the organisational level. He very quickly established a high level of trust between us which greatly facilitated this aspect.

"The programme was well structured and well-paced. It was engaging, interactive, thought-provoking and relevant. The atmosphere was positive as a result of how the presenter interacted with the teachers. Now we feel an increased part in implementing the school’s mission.”
The course was active and hands-on with non-threatening activities. It was interesting with a humorous style of delivery. It showed us how to move the school forward.

"This course was among the best courses I have ever done in my life. It clarified many points in my mind and enabled me to think in a proper way about the needs of SEN kids in class. It also refreshed my knowledge. It has also made me eager to know more and go into deeper researches about how to involve the SEN students with all the class."
Leila MadhioubDeputy Head
"I have learned more than I expected. I have a clear picture of SEN kids and how to assist them. The course helped me to develop strategies to assist the child I work with. I am more confident in teaching him. I know how he could react and the reasons behind his behaviour. "

"I have improved my work in the area of communicating calmly with confidence and presence of mind. It enhanced my self-esteem to become competent in what I do."
"I have started to think out of the box, tailor many creative activities that achieve two or more targets. It began as a personal issue of having a child with ASD, however, entering the professional setting was quite different and it’s interesting to follow my passion, help my child and others. Now I will seek a job to practise my learning. "
"I loved Chris. She is an amazing teacher that immediately made me feel comfortable from day one. She incorporates activities in groups that were fun and energetic."
"One specific area that I know have I developed in, is confidently working with special needs children. I used to get frustrated and stressed. I know the children got stressed too. Sometimes I felt clueless how to reach these children and after working very hard, I saw no improvement at all. I felt really frustrated. But after completing this programme, I gained so much confidence because I know how to work with them and I can understand them. The children also feel it. I feel I have a plan to work with them. The children we are working with really enjoy it and we can see this by their attitude. "
"After completing this program we learnt so many strategies to use. So I can use different strategies with these children and identify the best one for each child. I know I have developed in that area because I can monitor the progress of the child and I see them achieving their targets. "
"We learnt to look at the children in a different angle. We used to be scared of working with the children with special needs, but after completing the course we now feel more confident when we are working with these children.
Earlier we used to the think the children were naughty and weak, now we see them as children who need our help. We are more resourceful now when we meet these SEN children. "
"One specific area that I developed in was to define developmental delays by using the red flags. Through the red flags checklist I could pin point the difficulties and at the same time keep a record in the ABC chart, and then consult the SEN coordinator to bring up a conclusion of the difficulties. The way my tutor presented it to me was found to be interesting and on top of that, through this knowledge I could identify the ‘developmental delay’ and ‘speech and language difficulty’ with the child in my care. "
